Some grenades mechanics

I have two or three ideas for a new grenade mechanic. Not all of them are good ideas just throwing around random concepts.
1. The ability to hold grenades before throwing them. This will pretty much allow you to control the timing. But there is some catch. (with g/c/z + ctrl or something)
- Getting damaged will drop or automatically throw the grenade.
- Poorer accuracy for guns. For the case of pistols, prevents you from dual wielding but doesn't get worse accuracy, same for swords wherein one sword would be visibly disabled.
(Y'know what? While at it, be able to hold two grenades I reckon a person's hand can hold two grenades.)

2. The ability to throw back the grenade that's thrown to you.

3. Grenade animation prevents you from shooting.

Seems like a good idea, although there are some slight problems, since we don't actually a lot about the new grenades, this may not be able to be implemented, also ppl are gonna trole if they can pick up thrown portnades .

Also may already be possible due to the ability to pick stuff up with your hands instead of the kinetic module, although I'm unsure of this. (btw you can throw grenades using the kinetic module and slow-mo in pb2)

Incoming grenades can already be deflected (to some degree) with bullets due to the new projectile collisions feature, so that would be interesting. (In pb2.5)

Yes I know this is a suggestion but I thought I'd share my knowledge.

Not entirely sure what you mean by trole but I can see huge changes in gameplay if we could throw back nades. People would have to time it a bit then throw it at the enemy, otherwise the grenade you threw will be thrown back to you quickly. Not entirely sure how feasible would that be depending on the pick-up range of it. I think even if the pick-up range is somewhat tiny that could probably be done consecutively with enough practice.

I think grenades would have to go through some buffs when this mechanic is implemented. After all, 140 hp or something a grenade would have to be right next to the enemy to kill them instantly not including knockback damage.

Forgot kinetic module exists lmao. But currently kinetic module can't be used in approved map wherein which that mechanic is definitely going to be used. It has to be enabled to be usable in unapproved maps. Idk if this mechanic will be enabled in pb3 for approved though.

Yeah i already know that mechanic, rails seems to be more effective but it's hard to aim at the grenade consistently. In pb2 it's not practical cause of ping so there's probably no one with enough experience to comment any further than this.

Also i'm guessing there will be people that will commit a kamikaze on their teammates.

Oh I meant that people would throw someone's portnade into acid and they would die.

I think you understood what I meant but to be clear, in PB3/PB2.5 you can punch and drag things around with your hands.

Barrels,players,corpses,crates,ect. so maybe the same can be done with thrown grenades.
