Some questions I have on Plazma Burst 2.5.

Question 1: Will the game be free to play? And if so, will it be a browser game like the rest of the series? Or will it require download? Or will it have both?

Question 2: Does Eric still plan to release the sequel on Kongerate and Newgrounds?

Question 3: Is development still underway for PB2.5, or is Eric working on SD2D for now?

Question 4: When can we expect a progress update/roadmap?

1. Depends. Free = more players, which is good for multiplayer. But there also can be plenty of things that aren't good for multiplayer when access is free.

2. If game will be a browser game I guess. It might or might not be. Probably expect any release-related news on my YouTube, my twitter and on PB2 website.

3. More busy with my main job recently, can't really quit so far.

4. Maybe once I'll finish working on Level Editor. I do slightly more updates on my Patreon.

Kind of what people would think when there's a need to deal with some specific persistent people, even if they are quite rare and regular players usually won't even notice them (because of staff team's effort).
Thus making game not free or being invite-based could help there. Nothing is certainly decided here yet too.

It really depends on when PB2.5 is finished, if its finished this year we could have PB3 by 2023, it shouldn't take that long for PB3 because PB3 is just the campaign?

The sequel gets separated into PB2.5 as MP and PB3 as the campaign and from eric's progress so far, I don't see any clue references that he has started working on the campaign yet and eric mentioned a lot that it will take a lot of time, so even if PB2.5 has almost finished, eric won't release PB2.5 MP until he ends up working on the PB3 campaign which might take more time, so why can't you just forget about PB2.5 until it comes out? that's really a better technic rather than thinking about the game for 24 hours and keeping guessing and expecting a fake release date in which won't get into a thing.

I used to yell about the release a lot but then I learned that it is better to wait. Can't wait too much? fine then so forget a little... but anyways I still understand and accept that most of you are so disappointed as well as the release date has not applied on a certain date but it is not really the end of the world, eric already said that the release date is unknown so I don't think it's pretty much worth asking about the game release date anymore.

He isn't, because if he was working on the campaign without finishing 2.5 then he would have to be updating the campaign.

If he finishes 2.5 then he will have all the tools to make the campaign.

anyways, idk why but I feel like Eric Gurt trying to say that pb3 or pb2.5 will be priced not free, as this was still not decided yet, for me its not big deal because i have money to buy pb2.5/3, but other people can be disappointed cause some who doesn't get credit card for buying games, and this is actually better because we can finally get rid of annoying kids who cant buy games on their potato computer.
