Why you joined the PBC the first time?

In 2017/07/15, One of the admins, which named Doomzerker, has founded a discord server which is called "Plazma Burst Community." After been few years of hard working, PBC get the feature of community mode regardless on failed tries on cooperating the discord itself.

Looking from the start of the journey, until now. Everything is changed. Whether it become more cancerous, less moderating, new-gens walks in and brings up activity, or there's something meaningful discussion there but too short to fit in forum sections.

But I would like to move this topic out from discord, after I first joined the PBC in 2018/01/25 (not old enough, veteran). I joined PBC just because I randomly clicked the site chat, and the site chat was replaced to discord chat server, and I had a discord account to join in. Yeah that's basically my story.

Time to share yours stories of how and why you joined PBC the first time, while we are #reminize the lost of the old PBC feature, and #blesses the new of the PBC.
P.S. PBC never died, it's just changed. A lot.

I joined very soon after it was made.
I would say the combination of multiple things caused discord to be made;
guide! made a forum topic asking for one, then me and wasted begged doom to do it.
So I was helping form the discord for the majority of it's existence.

Back in 2014 I believe after I had enough of playing computer games and there was that weak router, I decided to discover the internet, after browsing youtube I started to search games in browser, that's my first contact with flash games, later I saw that game PB2 I played it for long and enjoyed it alongside other legendary flash games.

In late 2014 and/or early 2015 I searched in youtube plazma burst 2 and I saw videos which it does have multiplayer mode ( I didn't know there was multiplayer ), after I entered the original website, and clicked on multiplayer, and joined a server I became very happy and later started contact with other players.

Here comes 2016, that year where I made my second account in internet ( First is roblox: 2015 second is Plazma burst 2 ) and spent my childhood later on.



Edit: The main reason why I joined PBC because I love flash games.

It was because I was pretty active back in the 2013-2014 clan community on xat on where I used to roam different clan xat chats and just hang out.

In 2014-2015 was the time on where I was active in site chat. I tried it being active inside the bigger community itself after being involved in the inner clan community. This was also the time on where I tried to applied for staff the first time.

In early 2016, someone showed me Discord and told me that this is the 'new xat' on where new clans are already migrating to servers. I left Discord afterwards and became more active late-2016 on where I started seeing that clans are really going into Discord. I also somewhat annoyingly advertised Discord to the staff team when we were still using Curse at the time.

Then mid-2017 came, the PBC server was created, and my addiction to the community and Discord itself was made permanent.

Yeah same, but I wasn't active in discord till 2020. I wanted to check it out again and I saw decent people and conversations, too bad for me to see that a bit late.

I think I joined in mid-2020 for the first time, but left after a dozen posts or so.

Now I have 8,000 posts since October but PBC has quite a few issues, so ultimately I'd be better off only visiting every week or so.

It's been awhile now so I'll just say this before hibernating again.

Back in 2018, It was quite a decent year for me. At least without having meltdowns and stuff but I was rly a degenerate, I'm okay with it

Now I remember how I was in the site chat (before the discord server was made) and I remember GEF [guest-electric fish] being around with me and chilling, it's good times yno



Now for on-topic: I've been ignoring the discord server after it was made until 2018, And that's where I joined.

Just came there to chat with people, It's quite a good year since I met cool people like chx, druddigon, toppestkek, etc... but I don't like how I acted back then, And I'm assuming they didn't like me in the past either.

Early 2019 is where I got more active in the chat and my degeneracy went up ever since I joined vc with people.

It was really a fun year, I am more known in the community now and I made more friends. However I didn't like late 2019, I will not talk about that.

I think everything in 2020 pbc are bad, Which is why I left until christmas since that only keeps me alive to coming back. Some people like phsc and others have left as the same reason as mine, That is all what I have to say

But somehow, I'm not happy for where I am now. who cares

Although, It's been good meeting all the nice people in there, I hope we can meet again for sometime.

well, i played this game since 2014 and played it again in 2016, but the community i dont really know, i guess i joined The PBC in 2018.

I starting play pb2 multiplayer in 2013, it was interesting times, but but there was no interest in the community, as everywhere else, I was not interested in social networks and never visit forums, and I was a rather reserved, shy person, despite that fact i always had internet and computer. in 2015 or 2014 I became passionately interested in map making for some games and politics, but still was not interested at talking.

I joined the PBC in june 2019, at start I was pretty shy, well always has been..
To be honest I dont know why i joined PBC. Maybe because i was interested at people and what they are doing in pb2. Or i just was in search of myself and wanted to talk people, thats why i joined to pbc, cuz idk where to start talking with people.

Simply because I'm one of the players, or at least I was. Joined PBC discord because iirc Wardemption DM-ed me about it. Kinda happy since I can find some people who are as weird as me, yeah they come and go but that's ok. I mostly talk around when not focusing on my assignment (don't be like me). In short, I joined because PBC feels like a nice place to stick around during my spare times, I'll be sure to stay as long as possible.

i created my account around 2016-2017 but i have been playing before then, i think i found the game around 2012 2013, i had a lot of fun playing it but forgot about it after a while, when i created this account i wanted to get into map development, but procrastination can be a pain. early in 2020 (or midway through i forget) i decided to join the discord server and, that's about it really. other than making maps, i also created some decors, played a tiny bit of multiplayer and generally have been a massive idiot (but that hasn't changed)

In 2015 i was chilling on an flash game site, can't remember which one and i see this ad for pb2. i click it and i play as a guest for a few weeks then i forget about the game. due to me being bored of conquering everyone in AOC2 i remember pb2 and i get back into it in either october or december of 2019
