i made a base map recently and used push areas to prevent player spawning in certain places. it worked perfectly the entire time. dozens of players have played on the map and i have died quite a few times on the map; i have not noticed any issue with spawning and there have not been any complaints. it worked perfectly.
so i made some drastic changes to the map in order to create a new map from it. shortly after that i noticed that the push areas on the new map were not preventing player spawning, even though they are technically the same push areas from the old map, since it's just an edit. i even deleted those old push areas and made new ones, but they are still not preventing players from spawning in those areas.
so far i have only tested it out myself. the newer map is spawning me in the air, random parts of the base, inside of walls, etc. push areas simply stopped working.
what is even stranger is that even when the push areas were working, i did not put push areas in the air because i figured it wouldn't spawn players mid air anyway, and it did not. for some reason it only started spawning me midair when this problem started occurring.
also this is only an issue with the newer map. after testing the original map again, the spawning is still perfect there with push areas properly preventing player spawn.
any idea how i can fix?
