Map name: Battle for the Shrine
Map ID: gajacar25-bfts

Map description: I made this map a long time ago, and as it's the only map I've made that I'd consider somewhat ok, so I'm posting it here. It's a 4v4v4 map, with a focus on the center of the map. I'd appreciate any criticism.

The map is pretty good. It might be a good idea to add more cover in some places of the map, especially the center, to prevent camping. You can shoot through the lasers at the top of the map, which makes the center even more hazardous to go through, and ultimately a pointless route. Phoenix Falkok moves slow, but I'm assuming you did it to balance the teams.

Appearance-wise, all maps have improved a ton over the years, so remaking things and adding unique structures could be an option, but definitely not necessary to have a fun and playable map.

Any suggestions for unique structures? I'm not quite sure if there's a lot of space in the map.
As well, the idea is for the shrine to be hazardous, although I think it may be a bit too much. And, camping is an issue for sure, but I'm unsure quite how to prevent it fully.

Depends how you want the map to look. I tend to go more for ancient, medieval, or fantasy-like structures since that's what my mind knows. I'm terrible with futuristic things, ironically. One thing I like to do with structures is think of some object and turn it into a building. For example, a blade turned into a tower. You can get really detailed the more you let your imagination wander.

As for the camping problem, I can help you with it on Discord, Xat, or Steam since it'll take a bit to explain. Send me a PM if you want me to, and tell me which one.
