Sure most long-known players are waiting on PB2.5 so that is another reason why I am here - checking PB2 forum, chat and website to make sure PB2.5 will be something that people familiar with PB2 expect and can possibly like after giving it a try.

Your post made me cry. You literally said you care for us.
Eric, you can't imagine the happyness in me.
You actually care for us. Rarely that happens.
In most cases developers add new features and updates only to get more better ratings, more games bought and that. You, Eric, are completely different. You actually care and listen to the community.

Ontopic:

I am here because I ''need'' to stay, or else I'll go into a deep deep depression. I'm alone almost all the day, until I go to work. And my only friends are in PB2. Of course, I"ll meet friends while I work also.
But, some of my most loved friends are in this game. And they are really nice to me.
That's why I'm here.
PB2 did not die and it won't.
I will proudly wait for PB2.5, even if I'm the last user in this community. I'll won't waint more than a year, tho.
#PB2DidNotDie
I will wait patiently. That's the reasons why I'm still here. Because PB2.5 and my friends.

I'm a new player, and I'll be staying here until PB2.5 releases next year, well there's a lot of players have been registered and been playing on Cali, Washington and Euro servers. The reason I'll be staying here is because this is the only game which is the one I haven't played, it has a very nice campaign, it even allows us to play custom maps like delta501st-kofa02, darckseyes-saw or nei26061996-torture3 map. It even also has a multiplayer (still in BETA state) which allows us to play online with one another, play DM, COOP or even TDM, which sounds very nice. I even don't have problems playing PB2 Campaign whether I have or don't have internet wifi on.

Not only that, I also care for everyone around here, whether it's a guest, user or whatsoever, I still care about them all.

My satirical response was reflected in iPegasus' post.
I wanted to point some attention to the fact that the reason why people like myself are still here after 5 years is because we're deliciously exquisite pizza sauce stupid.

To give a more serious response:
I baaarely play PB2 anymore - I don't make maps anymore - but I'm still sort of around... here are the reasons:
1. I get reminded of this forum and community when I:
- I check for PB2 updates by going on the website. I know there are not going to be updates, which I will probably not care about anyway, but I do it because I have been doing it for so long and it has become a nervous response and a habit integrated in me.
-When I go on discord and I see my clan mates discuss PB2 and I get dragged into it.
2. I'm addicted to chatting with my clan mates because:
-They treat and pay attention me differently to any other chat, because I have a lot of influence within the community the clan has it's grounds on and because I'm a leader and the founder of the clan, and I like being treated special.
3. I'm attached to this community because
-People recognize me and respect me here for my name, and I like it. People give me attention and I like it.
-I like to laugh and cringe at the stupidity of general attitude and level of maturity of the player base here to feel superior and smarter than them, and therefore validate myself and feed my image of myself as being smart and mature.
-I also like to make smart ass posts and satiric remarks and "troll" because It's my way of proving to myself I'm smarter than people here, I also like the feeling of destroying my reputation and letting go after years of "behaving." I feel more free to be an asshole because this community is dying anyway, and it makes me laugh. I think there it's easier to create a buzz for my own enjoyment in a community where I have or at least, had, a lot of influence.
-I genuinely care about the progress of map makers and the quality of maps themselves. And I enjoy to play a really good map once in a while.
-I genuinely care about BoZ and I hope not to see it die. I would take initiative to help it out if it would ever need me, but it doesn't seem like it.

Well, I've no interest in gaming but the community is quite attracting and one in its kind.
I placed a quit 1 year ago cuz I lost all my progress w/ my account but Now I'm back cuz I can't find any other like it.
But It is also going sharp time by time and can be a reason of me quitting again.

Alright, let's stop this flamewar.

@Max Teabag @Monkeyman2535 (Lord Of Power) @Maxim12 @Hikarikaze @Mirth

Don't go offtopic, either take it to PM or somewhere else.

@Pegazus, next time inbox/report the topic if you have a problem instead of making a post.

All offtopic posts removed.

In a Plazma burst 2 forum -> General discussion -> So, Why Are You Still Here?
I replied to someone explaining Why They Are Still Here by telling them They Should Not Stay Here because of their reasons they provided.
On the other hand, Mingo replied to multiple people's reasons Why They Stay Here also commenting on their Reason They Stay Here.

Yeah, it's asking why are you here. Not why is anyone else here based on their reasons. You explained why you're here, good job, then you decided to go off-topic by starting a whole new topic about why PegaZus shouldn't be here, that's not what the topic is asking you to do.

As for mingo, then flag his posts, I'm sorry but I'm not a robot that monitors every post written here, I saw reports of your posts, so I acted.

Max teabag wrote:You're full of shit, Sparken, you didn't remove my posts because they were off-topic, you removed them because I was rude and provoking.

Maybe rude, idk, people interpret what you said differently. I didn't find it rude, you just made a good point why he should leave the community, it's for his own good. I agree on that. But again, that's not what this topic is about.

If you want to continue this, then PM me.

RenegadeKillerGSX9 wrote:Enough fighting, Max, even though I don't know you, please, just stop. To others who got their posts removed because of off topic, don't even try to go against Max Teabag. I'm not trying to make a protection for @Max teabag against one another, just telling you all to calm down. Don't bring your hatred words here, you know someone will feel uncomfortable with the flamewar that's causing you all fight.

Unless I missed this, this is just a small reminder. Just get along with one another, never try to go against one who doesn't care about something.

Just flag the post, a moderator will see it. Or inbox a mod, but thanks anyway.

iPegaZus wrote:Max, don't even try to make me rage, you pathethic c*nt.

Ontopic: Most people stay because of PB2.5 and PB2.

There isn't a need to insult another member of this community. As rude as he may have came across to you, that doesn't justify for you to insult him.

Why would I take something that answers the topic's question to PM? Would I now have to message the topic author? That would be a nonsense.

As for Mirth, I already spoke to you on chat about your post.

I forgot the last reason Why I am Still here, I can't believe I missed it in my last post, but here it is:

I stay around here because I am entertained by how certain staff members are absolutely clueless on how to moderate a forum. Like, just as an example, the post above made me burst out laughing:

I am still here because I love when a moderator shamelessly publicizes that he would like everyone to know he is a coward who would let everyone know he lacks any hint of common sense as to moderating what is off-topic or not AND let's everyone know that he's operating in a "least-effort" mode, where he doesn't bother to remove off-topic posts he sees, and only does it when someone pressed the "Report" button. Like, he doesn't know(nor care) what to remove, and he removes anything that is reported. " I saw reports of your posts, so I acted." -sparken

But we all know the moderator above is smarter than that. He knows that no forum in the world has such strict off-topic rules, not even this one! I have never been any post get deleted because it discussed other people's on-topic responses. Sparken, you know how a forum works. Please, you are representing the PB2 staff, stop with the massive pile of bullshit. I would recommend you deleting this post and your post, or even the entire thread to avoid this public embarrassment you have put yourself through.

I congratulate you on removing a post that had more potential value than were in the top 1% quality of posts made on these forums.
I congratulate you on removing a post you agreed with, and I especially congratulate you because of the reason you removed it, which was of a reason you don't even believe in yourself.
Sparken, what exactly are your premises?
This will probably be my last post on these forums.
Enjoy your forum where "everybody's talking but nobody is listening and nobody even understands what they're saying." -Monkeyman.
Good night and good luck.
Much love,
MT out.

Why am I still here?
Well,I wanted to leave this game so many times. Yeah,I'm not so active now, and I don't meet the few friends that i made. So why don't I leave this game? There's nothing funny to do anymore... just wait 'till PB2.5 will be relased. But I don't care about this ''new 2.5D game'' and honestly I only think that's something for not make quit the players.
I'm still here because a bond with me and this game, 3 years. And the few people that i met, weren't simply players, the few (decent) maps that I made, the approved maps...Also who hated me taked place in my mind. I'll never forget 'em.

It's surprising how many people are still here just for PB2.5

Let's hope it's good!

I mean, why not? The map making feature is great and you can still have some fun by creating a clan or some maps. Sure, PB2 is laggy and glitchy, but that's the charm of it. If Eric could fix these issues, it would be a great 2D multiplayer game. I've been playing since 2011 just because I can, I love military stuff and factions so I decided to create my own. If you know how to do something in PB2, it can surely be some good distracting entertainment.
