Brief Description: This map is a small map made for 2v2s or 1v1s but is designed to fit a maximum of 8 players
various weapons are strewn across the map but both teams start with the default pistol rifle and shotgun (the C-0
weapons)

*JUST UPDATED*
-map made alot bigger
-play movement restrictions minimized
-minimized black texture usage and replaces with dark plate or concrete
-now designed to fit 8 players

Design: 5/10 The map is too open and players are going to be boosting EVERYWHERE. This is a problem that you see in alot of competitive maps. You can fix this by simply adding a roof and making it a warehouse. Other than that the map is too small for 8 players. The walls are also placed in a way that restrain player movement instead of encouraging them to jump over, and dive under cover. http://prnt.sc/bn5xaw

Style: 3/10 Its simple (and sometimes simple is good), but its TOO simple to the point of laziness. I would recommend turning it into an indoor map. If you want to retain that "open-spacey" feel you can make it look like a damaged building. The black material is used too much instead of dark plate or regular material. The black material should be used for detailing and small bumps in the map.

Overall: 4/10 Good beginner map. You need to spend more time polishing and making an initial layout. Make sure to playtest frequently. You should also limit the amount of weapons in the map. Its way too small to have that many, and the design doesn't encourage you switching weapons mid-battle to fit a situation.

Notes/Flaws: These pushers go the wrong way.


Hopefully this review was of some use to you. I would recommend fixing bugs on this map, and starting a new one from scratch. Build it around the same theme, take what worked from this map, and put those ideas into your new one.

Thank you very much for the help! Ill keep it in mind as I redesign the map.

I fixed the pushers also, I copy pasted them and forgot to negate the x values which is why they went the wrong way.

Looks really nice, only problem for me is that it has too much lights. I think you might make it even more smoother if you take off some.

btw I rated 5, good job!

Nice revamp. I won't do such an in-depth review this time since the map is alot more complex now. And it'll also be good practice for you to critically review your own maps.

I did notice alot of rookie mistakes running through the map though.

-Lights in walls
-Walls not being placed properly
-Bad lighting
-Etc

There's probably lots of topics about this sorta stuff in the tutorial section so I won't go over it.

Thanks, I removed all (if not most) of the unnecessary lights and fixed walls and put them in the right spot.

Looks amazing now. I can't really seem to find any more mistakes. I prefer you to keep hosting this map to rack up some rates.
