I like both the original and the revamped version of the map (Though I like the revamped version more). In the new version, you have a good, interesting layout that has plenty of platforms that can make for some cool firefights. But there's always room for improvement, so I'll just make a couple suggestions:

Platforms: Now, I don't intend on being a hypocrite and talking about how you could improve the basic layout of the map, I like it just the way it is, I'm talking about each platform specifically. Most of the platforms you have are just rectangles! You don't really have to change everything, but it'd be really cool if you just experiment with different shapes and see how it affects the gameplay and such (Not to mention it'd make the map all the more appealing and unique!).

Aesthetics: When it comes to lighting, you've got it practically spot-on. There we're only a couple areas I found to be oddly lit, which I've boxed in here: http://prntscr.com/987swj. And even though it's fine the way they are, it'd be cool if you did something with the backgrounds. As of right now its all just the standard BG (With some exceptions), but you could change it up a bit if you wanted. Change some area's into usurpation, or have the areas with water into the sewer BG, etc.

Water Pools: This one's just a personal opinion of mine that I'm suggesting. It has to do with the 2 pools at each end of the map. They're fine the way they are, but it'd be cool if you connected them somehow via an underground waterway. Like you could have a pool at the very middle, then some underground passage to each end. This one's just my opinion, since I think some water-based combat could do well in a map like this.

Regarding more Platform Shapes: The reason I used square or rectangles shaped walls is due to the fact that it other shapes such as a triangle or circular walls can be very glitchy because of how thin the walls need to make different shapes. If this was map was ever approved it would be bad for the player who loves to play competitively such as myself that is and wall deaths can take away PP and affect your status.

Regarding Aesthetics: Since I used 'Shadows Only' background to cover all the random lights appearing through the crevices of the walls. It makes the map have a decent shadows, but the way they are oddly lit has something to do with the lamps. I do not think I can do anything to resolve it.

I did take your suggestions of having more BG variants and having the pools to connect to each other, I decided to go with it, though I used two more additional backgrounds for the water path which utilize Panel Dark and Usurpation Background. Though with some little more Panel Bright BG. I do not like the 'Impure Canal' BG because it my opinion it doesn't blend in with most other backgrounds or walls such as dark plates or black walls. I did use very little creativity on the walls. So here the new areas and full view of the water paths.

Spoiler: Show More

If you have more suggestions to give me, I'd love to read and consider them. Thank you for your response and opinions.

if you want put some guns around the map for (dm tdm)
also try some bgs combos in the up part of the map like you did in the water part

Eh, I prefer to only do the BG combo in the underwater I did update the bgs on the paths at least. I did add more Rayguns and pistols for DM/TDM purposes though to.
