Really bad frame lag.

Really bad frame lag.

Postby Varoid37 » 27 July 2016, 01:07

I'm getting tired of this frame lag. I know, playing videos with PB2 won't work has well has it could, but come on, I play huge 3D games with literally so little lag I'm not even sure there is any, why is a 2D flash game causing me so much frame lag that I literally almost (If not do) lag back into the ground every time I boost? It's almost not even practical to play sometimes.

I also try to use C cleaner to fix registry problems, it makes it run a little faster, but no where near has much has I want it to. I also try to stay pretty virus free. (The only virus scanners I've ever used that actually pick up anything are malwarebytes and spybot, I have both and ran one this morning), all in all, I just want a way to make the frame lag go away that won't require messing with system folders or something.

I use either firefox or chrome or edge for videos (Pretty random), and maxthon for PB2.

I'll post this again, despite giving you the advice last night, which you completely ignored in a really disrespectful way.

Follow this video's instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzMPY67hItM

If you cannot stand playing in 800x600 (despite being fullscreen), then go and get a better PC.

SWF Link: http://plazmaburst2.com/pb2/pb2_re34.sw ... 2&l=&p=&a= <- Open in Maxthon with that res, it will make a huge difference.

It's not that I'm being mean, I just don't like the concept of playing on a tiny screen with everything looking messed up, and playing some weird fullscreen mode I've never heard of before. lol

Anyone else have any ideas?

^ you serious...?

Anyway, PB2 is CPU sensitive so better run it with Firefox and close Chrome if it runs in background.
For PB2, grahics card doesnt have much influence if not at all, maybe overclocking a bit your CPU will solve all stuff.

You obviously do not even bother checking things, right?
The quality you see in the video is the quality you would get in-game with those settings.
But whatever floats your boat.

Varoid, this bug has been reported many times.

Take a look at them and look for reponses.

The game lagging in every browser for me, and as I made a topic, that 2D flash game is lagging, while 3D games with wau better graphics do NOT lagg. I don't think this problem come from the PC.
Have a good day.

@CaptainSolo The servers experiencing troubles due to increasing no of DDoS on the server can be a good reason for the increasing lag in PB2's servers.

As Protonoid said, overloading servers with false tcp packets/DoSing the game causes lag because servers run more shitty and shitty until they can't stand the unknown number of tcp packets, therefore crashes.

Those good tcp packets contain GOOD information and what will happen next.

Lag is there IF you're for example:
In california and play on ukranian server when you HAVE a calfornian server, dumbass.
In washington you play in ukraine, when you have a closer california, dumbass.
~~~~
~~~~
~~~~
INTERNET:
-You have a shitty connection=get PPP robbed.
-Having anybody play with you/beside you can result in extra lag.
-Playing via WiFi causes you to lose IMPORTANT tcp packets, which also results in you getting kicked due to no info what will happen next, therefore you get automatically kicked out.
-Playing via a cable is good and RARELY when you lose any tcp packet with info.
PC:
-Yeah, if you run a beast pc, then you're fine.
-Make sure you have a good cpu, gpu and ram. GPU isn't so important, but will be in the upcoming game PB2.5
That's basically it.
GAME:
Make sure if you want the best performance, disable some graphics like display and that stuff.
TURN VIOLENCE OFF IF YOU WANT NO LAG. Even mingo1 lags with violence.
@CaptainSolo
''while 3D games with way better graphics do NOT lagg.''
Ehh, rarely what game has good graphics.
If you wanna test, play Scrap Metal 1, 2 or 3, that'll sure lag the shit outta you.
PB2 players should have violence off as it gives AWESOME performance and gives you advantage of people who have it on.
It's not cheating or UNFAIR, because ALL PLAYERS have the option to turn it OFF.
Check if the problem still persists cuz the servers are reworked for preventing a DDoS. There is hardly and chance of getting False TCP packets now. If a problem still persists check your Connection and Performance.
Some other players reported me the same.. Maybe there is something still causing troubles.
First of all, try using another device if you have.
Check your connection again and firewall. It might be blocking the servers.
I can't do anything when the problem is with your connection because its your ISP doing it.
Try checking your Ping to USA and Ukraine. You might be away from the servers.
I am playing in EU, my ping there is really good. The starnge thing is that, the lagg is not for everyone. I tried on another device, from my router, and the game went perfectly (Google Chrome brower). So, the game is just a little bit broken in my opinion, because not everyone have the lagg. =/
Then you should continue playing on the other device.
If you want your device to work fine with game, Then disable your firewall and antivirus first. If that won't work, Only way is to completely re-install your operating system.
Stop giving non-working instructions.
The game is badly optimized, that's what.
