Multiplayer Series Switcher Thing.

Postby mingo1 » 3 January 2016, 01:59

SUCH a bad title, but I seriously don't know what to call this lol.

You know how when you play Singleplayer and you're playing a map series and when you finish the end of part 1 of let's say 8 maps it automatically switches maps, putting you in part 2 of 8?

Yeah, basically, my idea is to have that function in multiplayer map series, like a saw series.

So, in an 8 player lobby when players finish part 1 of let's say 5 saw maps, it transports the whole lobby into part 2 of 5. I believe this is done with regions, let me know if I'm wrong tho.

This would make playing multiplayer saw series much more fluid and fun instead of just being all like "k guys we finished bosscat1-saw2 everyone join "Lol" password is "hi" for bosscat1-saw3..."

Thoughts?

Oh for sure, there could even be COOP versions of SP series that already exist, that'd be an incredible amount of fun.

Good idea, but let the players choose if they want to go to the new map
Let something like this appear on their screen:

Sorta done that, but the map lags far too badly for me to use it, plus the AI glitch out.

Adding on to this, COOP campaign would be amazinggggg. Eric pls
who needs a PB2.5 release date, anyways?

Assuming that this is only for COOP matches, it's a good idea.

I think it would also be necessary to add a new option when you're making a match which lets you decide whether you want to be spawned to the next map when you finish or not. Sometimes people don't want to finish a saw and immediately go to the 2nd one.

Yup, with friends it would enhance your experience and enjoyment of the SP series or series of saws/traps.

Very true and similar to Darkstar's idea.

Nice addition to the idea.

Never ever played multi but I can see how beneficial this could be,despite rarely playing the game and lack of understanding,i agree with this and think this would be NEATTT man +1 a very beneficial and simple idea in my eyes

whoop. transport everybody into next map when someone finished. The only problem is...
when I just rejoined (if a good timing), I immeadially got the message "would you want to go to blah blah blah..."
if me, I will confused. And thinking what happen just now.

If this was a thing, I could make a co-op 10MD campaign, which would be pretty badass.

Yes, this has my total support.
