PB3 Campaign ( Storyline suggestions )

I would look forward to see some levels have variety of structure and their purpose, like for example capturing enemy's base or a turf, capture the flag levels, domination levels, defending some places against the enemy ( similar to zombie waves maps except that they're armed ).

I also would like to see some new characters, like new allies of rogue/prisoner CS, Usurps or falkoks.

As well as introducing new objects, like a functioning mines or a health supplier ( similar to that of engineer's thing in TF2).

And the atmosphere and the environment, and that will attract me the most;

Make the levels have some sort of post alien invasion vibes, destroyed buildings, debris, destroyed vehicles, rusted stuff and etc.

And would be amazing if you added some sort of environmental factors that damage you besides acid, like radiation from CS BNG ( if it bullets contain nuclear atoms ) or just anything.

Fogs, heavy clouds, dark clouds, anything that attract the eye would be cool

Lastly, make the campaign accurate and realistic, in a way which it continues the storyline of both 2 and FTTP.

I'm sorry if my points are kind of nonsensical or doesn't make sense, I just did this in a hurry.

New suggestions:


Cutscenes, like from games obviously.

Ability to save and load at any time ( if you want to make levels continue in a way that you cannot repeat the older ones )

Ability to hijack drones by some sort of hacking stuff?

An ability to shut down a electric terminal thus shutting down turrets

Having the ability to further upgrade your armor and helmet

Add more purposes for vehicles, because vehicles in Pb2 campaign is so rare.

Add enemy behavior, like if they are badly injured they tend to stay on the ground and continue to defend themselves till they die of bleeding or in rare occasions: surrending to the protagonist and the allies

Add booby traps, like spikes

CS BNG would be sorta radioactive?
Because its an energy projectile radiating rays of light that could be gamma rays beta rays and alpha rays.
Depending on which type they were it would cause more or less damage (alpha rays are stopped by paper lol)

Post alien war settings would actually be an interesting change for the campaign, maybe looking something like deadswitch 3 maps but longer and more linear. Like the marine enters a subway with his allies looking for idk a bioweapon poisoning the air or smthin.
But also not going too far and making the campaign nothing like the original.

Judging by how danger the CS BNG is and how it function when hitting the enemy, I'm sure that it wouldn't be alpha, but either gamma or beta or any sort of radioactive particles that cause either short life or long life effects, both can be equally terrifying if you are in the battlefield, point is that adding some realistic details would not be only interesting to the players but also potentially attracting newgens ( despite I dislike new generations in a way ).

I also realized that the Alpha radioactive particles is the most ionizing one but the least penetrating, so if you have some wide and exposed flesh wound, whether it be sword or bullet wound and getting shot at by BNG, you would be totally doomed I guess.
