what is that circle doing in the stock?

1. I think that's a battery, which explains why the gun has glowing lines. I think this gun is an energy-based weapon, so maybe the circle thingy is more of a magazine.

2. Most likely a bayonet.

Both are correct. I wanted the mechanism of the weapons that follow this aesthetic to be mysterious yet still somehow obvious so it's not entirely interpretative. The glowing lines are just part of the style of the weapon and nothing too significant

Liked that gun though, reminded me of the F2000, especially the pistol grip part.
