A pistol

Postby xXSniper10700Xx. » 18 December 2015, 05:22

So yeah i tried to make a custom pistol. i used MS paint for it (i know that was a mistake) so its kinda shit with it being very pixelated. I did try to put a bayonet on it but i couldn't find and way to do that without messing up the gun. Please keep in mind that i am quite new to this. ~Crashy

Not bad. You could add some more details like a line that splits the gun to show that there's a slide and receiver separately. Right now, it's basically a blank space waiting to get filled.

You don't necessarily need a bayonet with a pistol. It's rather unnecessary and just makes the entire thing look unnatural, unless you're trying to go for an overkill look. Looking at some examples of pistols and other people's work can help give you a decent idea of what you want to try to aim for, while throwing in your own creative twist to the design at hand to make it more 'original' and yours.

There's some free programs you could consider moving to that gives quite decent results - examples being Paint.NET and GIMP. Both can produce PB2-styled art much easier than MS Paint can.

The pistol is horribly plain- Basically just a white box. Not very Pb2 styled, either.
However, an odd thing- That wolf design on the side is very well done, especially considering it was done in MS paint. If you did that from scratch, props.
