Instead of making the rifle on a template of 772x401, make it on a template of about 2000x(xxxx). Also, the lines are a bit thin for Plazma Burst fan art. Overall, a nice design. On a realistic standpoint, the barrel seems a bit large, as well.
I will give it a 7/10. Very good for your first try in PDN.
The only reason it's ~770x400 is because I opened a reference image to make sure I get proportions right. I usually can't manage to get the proportions right unless I have a reference image. Usually I just keep it as a separate layer, keep it unchecked and draw from there - I check it periodically to make sure certain areas like the pistol grip aren't too big or too small. If I could get a clarification as to whether lines in PDN are rasterized or vectored, I could probably select it, resize it if I can, and work from there on a bigger canvas. Also, I'm guessing the roughness stemmed out of the paint bucket tool and the line tool. I anti-aliased the lines beforehand just in case, but it's rather noticeable up close.
For the lines, I used a width of 5, but I'll see if 6 or 7 is more along the lines of PB2's style. As for the barrel, it's a suppressor. I could've added some shading but I reckon it wouldn't fit in PB2 as much as it does now.
