I think map criticism and feedback is good for the map maker so that one can improve his map a little more.

Yeah true, but i have stoped that since i lost interest on actually getting my maps approved, but i made this one to be approved because why not? C:

The reason "why not" is clearly a rhetorical question. If you have any self respect as a level developer you don't beg or ask.. Asking for rates is one thing when a map is NEW. Asking for approval is another. I only have one approved map and honestly I never expected it to be one. I've tried for years, didn't beg for approval once. I finally got one, and yeah - it's awesome. But in the long run it's the people's opinions that matter. Not yours. I'm so critical on my own maps I forget the fun element. But hey each is to his own. Just don't become a nuisance..
