Should alternates be allowed in rank?

Welp, should we allow alternates in rank? Food for thought

I would say both yes and no.

Yes because;

If your main is lost and you cannot retrieve it back then sure, alts can play ranked matches.

No because;

If your main is banned, or you're currently punished inside the website for a reason, and having an alternative account with using same IP address or motherboard ID, then alts of main banned account cannot join rank matches .

In the end, alts with former punishments should have some of the features disallowed.
