Simple Question: Do i have to redownload pb2 standalone client for each update?

I thought about that myself. The last time I downloaded the PB2 Standalone Client was almost half a year ago and I'm afraid it could be outdated. To answer your question: I am humble enough to tell you I am not sure.

yeah you need it. But you can try to save your campaign progress by copy sol files, maybe... you wont lost anything except that

It will show message on attempt to play with version that lost compatibility. Recently we been adding visual stuff as well as bug fixes so far.

So most problems with older versions you'll get is lack of bluish shade for approved maps withing rotation and one problem related to COOP multiplayer maps where certain map events might not happen to all players.

I think I will implement some sort of auto-update when standalone will replace browser version for most players.
