Should PB2 be a MATURE RATED (Ages 18+) Game?

Postby mingo1 » 21 April 2017, 04:18

Upon some investigation, I found out that PB2 is rated M for mature (18+ to play).

So, I pose this question to you all:

Should this be an M rated game?
What would you rate this game? (T for teen, E for everyone, etc.)
How do you think it got the M rating?

Let me know!!!

Thanks! :D

The rating doesn't really matter since little kids will play this game anyways, but if I was able to choose, I'd say T just because it is able to be graphic but is only cartoon violence, along with the unfiltered chat, which has an option to be filtered.

Default settings make it M, but once changed, anyone's parents wouldn't see a problem with it, unless they were the type to dislike seeing any guns.

Nope, should be for everyone, it's not like the game is too violent/ or realistic. I've seen worse that didn't get an M.
Probably got this rating thanks to some pacifistic parents, or in fear pacifistic parents would complain about it.

PB2 should be a teens game but probably the gore and violence brought it up to Matured

nice topic mingo1 plazma burst 2 shouldn't be rated M for mature as many people will play it no matter what age they have. i would rated this game T for teen due violence and gore.people who putted plazma burst 2 for 18+ must disliked the fact that this game not just have guns and violence but it has also and gore which maybe made some parents furious about this.

i have to say that the mature rating for this game should be PG (parental guidance) since this is a shooting game with gore, but it's not too realistic like COD or CS:GO, so... yeah...

Basiclly, the guns & the gore in this game isnt really that realistic, like counter strike, point blank, or GTA. Also that young kids below 18+ years old would also able to play this game, except babies & little kids below 5 or 6 years old (maybe). So i rated this game T.

I won't rate it M or E since T seems to be fine imo.

I'd rate it T since the game is pretty much for children (guns which do not exist in real life, unrealistic gameplay, 2D etc.) but the violence and gore increase the rating.

There's no evidence to suggest that violence has a negative impact on the psychology of 17- year olds.

It's not a very serious game, I wouldn't even consider it 18+ or teen rated. Maybe the violence but it's not very realistic.

I'd rated it PG-13 because it isn't that violent unlike other games, and that there is a ton of kids on this game.

I think it's fine if kids played this game, but not with gore switched on.

I think I would go for the Parental Guidence. Putting the game as an 18+ or so would seem quite dramatic since it's not much of a violent game, though it's a 2D Multiplayer Shooter. You can always turn off the violence effect anyway if younger kids were to play which would probably make the game 'safer' for them.

PB2 at its safest - least "inappropriate" settings - contains mild cartoon/fantasy violence, minimal gore/blood, and so would sit somewhere between an E10+ or a T rating.

PB2 at its most "inappropriate" settings however contains cartoon violence, cartoon blood, and cartoon gore. PB2 has no strong language and no sexual themes or drug use, so would likely sit at a T rating.

PB2 does not have "intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language" - the violence and gore is fairly unrealistic and cartoonish, so wouldn't constitute an M/17+/18+ rating.

I think I would go for TEEN RATED (T 13+). Although it's not much violent, well, thanks to any other players, some of us even swear or curse. Like I do, but not that much. I'm pretty much changed right now since 2016.

Although kids can turn the blood and gore off, but problems is, what about the other players, who actually curse or swear? Or worse, making maps which has an inappropriate match title.

I know, but if they see the censored thing, they would ask what did the player said. What I'm literally worried about. Even though the player said "Nothing.", they wouldn't stop asking. That's the problem.
