Sgt Dwayne-sentry (1st playtest)
- Map has many objects (2,000+) that can contribute to lag
- Lamps have high brightness that can also contribute to lag (lower their power and use shadowmapsize e-mark)

Tested the current map with the same amount of objects on the highest settings of the game. No fps drops, smooth gameplay, normal loading speed.

The power of the lamps were default(0.4). I have removed all the lamps and replaced them with Darkstar's lamp decor which illuminates the map very well. Shadowmap was 15 but now it's gone.

That part is intentional. Although the map is made only for 4 players, I still didn't want people to have good space in certain areas of the map like this one. Camping is the problem there, so whoever camps at that spot will be slowed down and have to be on moving to avoid getting killed. Even so I might change it if it doesn't fit. (By the way, Max Teabag proposed the idea of changing that part to how it is today to hinder players from camping.)

I moved the lamp in the water up, just under the wall. I couldn't understand what you said very well other than the light's spot being the issue. I still changed the pattern of the wall beneath the water to "Wet Sand" to make it a little more apparent that it's water. Also, since I have changed all the lamps to decors, it's less of a problem now.

I want the map to restrict the surroundings of the player a little bit to adapt to the rails of the railgun so I only touched the area shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/tf12he

Overall I did not edit the map a lot but it is now looking better.

The map seems to play better now(less lags) that you changed the lamps

Remove this lamp its not needed there is an other one right behind

Also make the water to have different color like low saturation green to be better visible?

The movement IS supposed to stay like that so it is not easy to move at that spot, only at that spot, to avoid camping and/or forcing fast movement there so, I am not going to change that part. Also:

- Just make this lamp an old style lamp that's invisible (this was from previous feedback from Kiri?) https://prnt.sc/tlj8xe
- Address the issue where at this part of map, if you get a running start, you can walk fast through it, but if you climb onto ledge you are stuck crouching through it https://prnt.sc/tlj9iv
- Bury backgrounds on map better to avoid glowing edge effect https://prnt.sc/tlja14
- The water BG HEX modifier feels out of place with the blue/red bg, try orange or another color that can blend the two different halves?


- Overall, (personal opinion), map design feels repetitive and seen before to PB2 custom maps

Minor things are now fixed.
The water is now orange and the current color fits it much better in my opinion.
Slight changes were done on the part where you get slowed down by the wall. (Before: https://prnt.sc/tll1ub After: https://prnt.sc/tll201)
Map preview is updated.
This map was never a unique one. One of the two reasons to submit this for approval was to see how it could be made better for better gameplay and to obviously see if it gets approved after the changes are applied.

At the todays playtest

The gameplay was good my only suggestion is if you want to try to make the bg something like this
