AFK button? And more realistic guns?

#1 The AFK button is used when your gonna afk like when your press that button it tells everyone that your AFK
and your game will be paused and you cannot do anything unless you press that afk button again to be back on the game :D

#2 GUNS
about the realistic guns seems like there are too many un-realistic guns lel
why not put AK47 and stuff i know its hard to do the textures and stuff but
yah....
thats all i got ..

The afk feature already exists. You just have to open the menu and it prevents respawning on the match. Only works for DM and TDM though, not on COOP.

About the guns, this is PlazmaBurst2.
AKs as such do not exist in this universe as well as any other balistic weapons of that kind.

This idea is very good because many users want a afk button in order to prevent respawning.about the guns yeah why not.it is a nice idea

Tell me more about this AFK button cause tis confusion
and AK47s would be too primitive compared to the guns we have already(the M4A1 and Glock are test weapons) think of it like bringing a musket into a modern combat situation.

So since your game would be paused, what about for other users in the same match? How would it affect them? Surely they wouldn't care if you are AFK and still kill you. Even if you are going to be afk, leave the match then return.

1: You can already pause the game to prevent yourself from spawning in DM and TDM matches, this is pretty much an afk button, as for COOP, it's probably better not to have an afk button in that mode.

2: This is a futuristic game, we don't need or want AKs or even modern/recent weapons, we want things like the rayrifle, alien weapons, and railguns, which are unique to PB2 and futuristic, these weapons suit the game and add to the atmosphere. An AK would not fit PB2 at all.

They are not secret weapons they are test weapons, Eric added them when he first started development of PB2 and thats why they are not on ALE plus this is not a game set in 2015 this is a game set in 2900 so Desert Eagles and AKs will not be added. Besides, we are already getting a few new guns in pb2.5.

I personally wouldn't mind an AK in the game, unless it was revamped to be more futuristic looking and more fitting to the game. CoD: BO3 did something similar with the KN-44: a simple revamp of the AK platform to make it fit in the 2060s. Even Destiny, which takes place roughly the same time period as PB2, has an AR-15 you get right at the beginning which works just fine for a weapon dating back centuries ago. Railguns are also pretty modern at this time if you ask me, so there's that.

Just because it's the future doesn't mean it has to necessarily be a 'perfect' high-tech world with plasma rifles.

For the AFK button, I'd imagine the player in AFK mode fading like the CS Ghost when damaged, but players and projectiles will simply phase right through to prevent people from getting free kills off the player that's AFK.

There, a question. Would a player get kicked for inactivity with the current AFK "system" if he'd pause the game for 5 minutes but would still use chat? Is that considered as inactivity or not?
If yes, the only possible improvement I see is to have a tip written on the pause menu which states that respawning is paused.

Not sure why an assault rifle from the mid 1900s would be around a few hundred years in the future.
Even if Aks were still around, or something like them, what faction would use them? The CS seem high tech and rich enough not to need basic tier assault rifles (assuming the CS-RC is a good rifle for its time, I'd assume an AK would do far less damage).
An AFK button could be useful though, so I'll go for that.
who needs a PB2.5 release date, anyways?

To be perfectly honest, the sniper rifle we have is a dragonuv, which is pretty old, and the assault rifle is an XM8, which is a modern weapon, not very futuristic.

That's just the model. The bullets themselves and other things could be much more updated.



For all we know, the M4A1 shell could be used for the next 40 years but with updated internals.
who needs a PB2.5 release date, anyways?

for all the people who says pause it when you died:
not everyone know that, please.
This thing also considered top 10 you may don't know feature in Plazma Burst 2.
btw, the perfect AFk thing should be that:

you type -AFK in chat.
server will says:
"player" is AFK.
than server let the player invisible and no-collision to bullets and players.
