Experience System is a rating system wherein it will compile every battle ratings of the player thus defining him how go he is (Don't let the experience fool you as you don't really know if he is good or not)

Experience will appear in your profile at the same time in the score board (sheet whatever you prefer to call it). Simply it is just a battle rating. There are ways to gain and lost experience points

Ways to Gain Exp Points

Finish campaign level in difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard and Impossible) finish it in easy will earn you 1, Normal for 2, Hard for 3 and Impossible for 4 if you a difficulty higher then the lower difficulty will be unlocked automatically and when you reset your campaign the points will be gone too. You cannot earn experience points if a cheat is on.

Multiplayer Kills- Every kills will earn you 1 point.

Capture the flag- Capturing a flag will earn you 5 pts. if retrieving is possible then you will earn 2 points for retrieving your flag or killing the carrier

Your team win- 1 Point

Capture the point- Point captured will earn you 3 pts, Defending it will earn you 1 point

Someone rated your map- will earn you 0.1-0.5 depending on the rating

Kill Death Ratio- Your kill death ratio multiplied by 2

Losing Experience Points

Death Count- You will lose 1 point

We already have messed up PP, and adding messed up EP wouldn't really help.

How come killing 3 random noobs gives the same exp as finishing the campaign on Hard difficulty?

True, these competitive systems will just ruin the game

meh, I would rather have a top 100 based on how many map points you did. A lot of map makers can make maps on easy, normal, hard, insane, frustrating, demon fury. Easy is 1 point, normal, 2 points, hard, 3 points, insane, 4 points, frustrating, 5 points, and demon fury, 7 points. This is like the geometry dash ranking system. I play the campaign already in 2.5. But map makers make more maps, staff can approve it, and we can download it to our profiles. You can have 10000+ points and be first lol. This can make single player maps much more...popular you know? This should be the list with awards, and this system seems more creative.

Losing 1 point for each point is too much imo.

PB2 is special that it doesen't have that stupid "Grind grind grind!" concept that any other MMORPG game have.

Sorry, but no to the idea.

I think the past 4 years of PB2 have shown us that it's better to keep things simple when it comes to stats. KD was farmed, PP was messed, what you have suggested looks very unbalanced, with too many ways to gain points and only one way to lose them. Even if you did a lot of work on it and tried to balance it, it would still be exploitable, so we need to go back to the absolute basics. You have a number of kills, a number of deaths, and a number of map votes, (the map votes shows how many 1* votes and 5* votes etc).

That could work. But for EP to work, the PP system would have to go.

PP isnt messed up, it's just the lack of skilled players in ranked.
Literally all of the top 100 are just people who play ranked regardless of skill, and most of them aren't even active.
