Tips?

I am trying my mouse at sketching on a computer. It isn't very good so far, and I'd like to know if there are any tips some of you guys have that I could use. I am currently using GIMP (I have a huge plugin at adds a shit load of stuff, so it's just about as effective as photoshop for cheap-o sketches like this).

Instead of using a mouse, have you tried one of those drawing tablets? Seems costy but its worth a try.

I am very poor, so getting a drawing pad at the moment is next to impossible. Hopefully, though, I will be getting a job permit soon and a job after.

i use my mouse to draw, and i dont use the pen tool, paths tool, any drawing tablets, or wireless drawing pens.

im a little cheater by zooming in crazy in the canvas i'm drawing on, then once i'm finished i shrink it down to the size i want. it looks like the lines become smoother, the colors/shading blend a little better, and overall i think its easier than struggling to understand the path tool, which i cannot for the life of me understand.

<---- my profile picture and VVV profile signature were drawn on canvases 6x the size of these, but they were 100% hand drawn, no tools other than the fill bucket.

Eh its still want more work on it . Try to make it on hand it will looks better . 4/10
