FttP Soldier Remake Attempt

Postby protagonist » 25 June 2020, 20:44

This was my 2nd attempt from many months ago at trying to give the human soldiers a more unique and interesting look, the original blue/purple colors were too obnoxious to work with, so I changed things up. I ended up making something quite different from my original goal.

Despite such a departure from the original concept, some things remain the same, the visor/accent lights/etc would change color depending on their rank (too lazy to make variants).

And yes, I'm aware that anatomy/proportions are off, forgot to use a reference

Not gonna lie, this one looks much better than the regular Human Soldier, despite that the helmet is slightly ugly.

Well, the face was just copy/pasted from the in-game civilian skin, might look small because most of it is covered by the helmet/visor.

I think the colors make them look like toy soldiers. Maybe a less saturated blue would look good?

Thin arms. This dude skipped workout days for sure.

Variations can be done by simply recolor the green parts.
