You know what, while Fordex's reply was a bit... goofy, pb dman, you went FAR beyond him. He's ten, and you're telling him (general prickery from pb dman goes here) Also, "most details are not necessary"? "dumb spike on the leg which contains no advantage for the skin anyway"? Why does it having an "advantage" matter? If he thinks it looks good, he should just add it. We don't need another Jason Eden in the community, telling everyone how "unergonomic" their designs are. Ergonomics shouldn't be a factor in judging a design unless they were trying to make it ergonomic.
Fordex, I'd suggest you download Inkscape and start using that; outlines are a whole lot cleaner, and that alone'll make your stuff look better. You might wanna consider adding a bit more larger details too, where stuff looks a bit blank, and making the overall shapes of it a bit more interesting; right now the torso's silhouette is more or less a rectangle, but you could add some extra stuff to it if you want, and that might help out, too.
Lazy innanet man who like, does stuff, sometimes.
