Nice. But I always thought that the Falkoks are birdlike aliens. So in my opinion the alien needs a beak if it is really a Falkok. And I have nothing against the horns. They're fine except the third one.

Weird the Falkok boss doesn't have a break.

It looks great, but what is the practical use of having the horns? They only make the helmet heavy and unwieldy.

Horns give +1 to the player's melee dice roll.

Yeah, the horns don't serve any practical use. They're just a e s t h e t i c .

Yes, I can read. What I'm trying to say is that it's not right to sacrifice the ergonomics to get an intimidating look. This is reckless and childish.

Okay okay. I'm sorry if my joke rubbed you the wrong way. I guess my previous post did sound a little condescending, which although wasn't what I intended, seems to be the tone that you received from it.

people who take pb2 fanart seriously

as if most pb2 skins made sense...
what is the problem with sacrificing ergonomics to get a intimidating look? its valid, what makes someone use a skin in pb2 or people like it isnt realism yet how badass it looks

To quote the OP, this is:
ditzy wrote:Falkonian armour

i.e not human and not designed for humans. The ergonomics/unwieldiness argument won't work because there's no information about the anatomical structure of the aliens in this game to prove or disprove the claim. Alien characters shouldn't be assessed purely in the lens of only human standards because they're literally not human and thus don't likely work the same. The helmet may be heavy/unwieldy for a human for example but this isn't a human we're talking about here so there's no reason to assume it'll be the same for other factions

This makes sense. I guess I should apologize to you, Ditzy.

The one issue whith the horns is the fact that you can see it's horns before you see it's head ,along with the fact it could be grabbed.
