After Android SLC-56's escape from secure facilities, Civil Security's equipment proved to be dire. Even though a whole squad of elite GHOST units was dispatched, SLC-56 managed to evade capture with its superior speed and inflict heavy casualties upon the GHOST squad. A new battlesuit was desired. Civil Security contracted Glaive Industries to build a battlesuit that is able to match SLC-56's speed, asking for "a suit fast enough to shove a boot up their a**** before they even see it."
Glaive Industries presents: The Raven Reconnaissance Suit
It's sleek, and although lightweight, provides more protection than the cheaper mass produced Civil Security Lite Armor. The armor plates are made of a newly researched composite material, which is both lighter and stronger. In addition with the endurance suit worn underneath the wearer is able to run at extreme speeds.
Experimental trials were conducted, the Raven was deemed "too fast" when four test pilots managed to paste their innards all over the test course. One survivor reported "It was like I drank one hundred cups of coffee." A speed governor was installed to remedy the issue.
The delivery to Civil Security was well received. The new Raven units are tasked to scouting and light attack missions, using the suit's speed to out maneuver opponents.
In game this would be the human counterpart to the Android SLC-56, with the same hp / speed / ect.
