Forces of Corruption: The Impossible (Act I & Act II)

Hello, guys. I am here to advertise my Plazma Burst 2 custom series for which I have been doing for quite a while, remastering, polishing, and corrections. But first, I warn you though, the maps WILL be extremely challenge as I will make them, especially now in Act I of the series. I won't go over the story line, in case I don't want to spoil it over, so going over that is up to you.

Gameplay wise, here is what players should see when they play these maps:

- Health Regeneration speed increased from 80 hp/s to 100 hp/s (1x to 1.25x)

- Health Regeneration delay increased from 1 to 2.5 seconds (1x to 2.5x)

- Fall Damage threshold decreased by 35% (from 1x to 0.65x)

- Bullet Penetration factor is now zero

- Bullet Life doubled

- PSI blades disabled

Now that we got that out of the way, here are the maps as follows. I hope you enjoy them, even though Act I will be difficult in my eyes.

ACT I

Map name: Forces of Corruption : The Impossible - Betrayal [1-1]

Map ID: ghost killer823-impossible

Map description: You have lost contact with nearly all of your Centax forces and most of your commando unit allover on Planet Sullust. The last caller who reported back to you suggests that Imperial forces, your former ally faction, have eliminated all of your ideal allies, with no answer as to why...

You are onboard one of the Imperial cruisers making its way to the Sullust system to join the first colonization wave of the Imperial fleet securing the planet. You are now forced to eliminate any of the new hostilities created by these new orders of the Imperial Confederacy, escape the cruiser, rendezvous with the rest of your unit, and leave the planet before an Imperial sector fleet scheduled to arrive and secure the planet within the span of 48 hours t-minus!

Surviving this betrayal is now your priority...

Brief Description: The Imperial High Council on the capital world of Rrect, a planet, has declared all Centax operatives bred to their cause to be eliminated, no quarters, no prisoners, no mercy. This had been issued shortly after corrupted human imperial officers tricked and framed most of the Centax high command staff by an assassination attempt on the their Supreme Leader in the hopes of him later issuing these new orders to complete their motives of removing the influence of Centax ruler-ship and peaceful resolutions from the central government or other powerhouses to continue their rise to power and rule over the galaxy in whatever they want.

Map name: Forces of Corruption : The Impossible - Sabotage [1-2]

Map ID: ghost killer823-impossible2

Map description: The cruisers gun batteries and point-defense lasers are still operational, so an attempt to escape without care of them will result to your immediate destruction before getting anywhere. You will need to head to the automatic turret defense mainframe and do whatever you can to temporarily disrupt it! The armament would be offline and the gunners are would be forced to abandon their over-watch. Imperial security throughout the ship is only getting stronger, you do not have much time before they request for reinforcements.

Brief Description: You are still on-board an Imperial vessel at this time. You need to disable the weapon emplacements on the Imperial cruiser before you plan on leaving it behind or you'll be shot down before getting anywhere.

Map name: Forces of Corruption : The Impossible - Breakout Plan [1-3]

Map description: The weapon defense systems on the enemy cruiser are now offline. Proceed to the hangar bay and find an available transport or shuttle to escape! Remember, you must steal a multi-troop suitable craft for use when you rendezvous with the rest of your team on the Forge Island... assuming the Imperials do not predict your next move...

Brief Description: Escape the ship: Find an available shuttle in the cruiser's main hangar bays.

Map name: Forces of Corruption : The Impossible - Escape [1-4]

Map ID: ghost killer823-impossible4

Map description: All of the available shuttles in the hangar have been locked down by Imperial flight codes, so you will need to jump ship with a group of escape pods you can find near the bow section of the ship... Imperial forces have sent for reinforcements to board your vessel. You must cut off any nearby Imperial reinforcements from entering near your destination and abandon ship before you happen to be paused of advance and overwhelmed!

Brief Description: Imperial forces have lockdown down all of the shuttles in the hangar bays. You will need to abandon ship through an escape pod and travel down to Forge Island of where Major Sci-Fi and his men are located. Imperials are sending for reinforcements to board your vessel, you must cut them off from your area before you find yourself far too overwhelmed!

ACT II

Map name: Forces of Corruption : The Impossible - Betrayal [2-1]

Map ID: ghost killer823-impossible5

Map description: The story now takes us into the perspective of Major Sci-Fi, the Centax Commando unit leader, on planet Sullust shortly after the orders were given to eliminate the members of the Centax Alliance and before the time of CC-0158s betrayal by Imperial forces onboard an Invader-class cruiser hovering in the upper atmospheres.

Brief Description: You now play as Major Sci-Fi and Proxy (unchanged PB2 asset), rather than CC-0158, for this part of Act II. Your ship has been shot down by the Imperial forces who betrayed you and crashed landed on Forge Island on the 9th sector of Sullust. You plan to alert one of your best commandos of your unit, ''CC-0158'', of the Imperial treachery and later move out to find a way to avoid detection from Imperial pursuers.

Map name: Forces of Corruption : The Impossible - Stranded [2-2]

Map ID: ghost killer823-impossible6

Map description: Play as Major Sci-Fi...

Your shuttle has been shot down, by the Imperial Confederacy who had betrayed you, and crash landed on the beach of what archive data calls: (Forge Island)... According to the scanners, there is a small GSA presence on the island, hiding their forces, using built-in underground bases and camps which negate the detection under most scanners...

To make matters worse, Commander Sever is deploying Imperial troops to your location in efforts of hunting you down and completing his orders. You cannot fight a battle at two-fronts. You must coordinate with Proxy to find a way to get off the island and then off the planet, either before you are surrounded by both ends, or by an Imperial fleet which will arrive in 48 hours!

Brief Description: After contacting CC-0158 onboard one of the Imperial ships, you later find that the whole island is occupied by GSA forces, those of who took notice of your crash landing, are now on the move. Assume that they probably have a few transports and fighter craft with them. Attack the GSA troops to find one!

Map description: Reverting back to the events of Act I, our main protagonist, CC-0158, has escaped an imperial cruiser in the Sullust system. The commanding officer of this cruiser reports to Commander Sever to alert him of the traitors escape and his destination.

Brief Description: Going back to the events of Act I Finale, CC-0158 has just escaped an Imperial cruiser via escape pod after its security forces who failed to stop him. The Captain of this ship informs Commander Sever, the highest rank of commander and leader of the 189th Shock Trooper corps, of the traitor's escape and his destination.
