(P.S this is just a tutorial for new people, so if you're skilled and/or know these things, please don't comment saying it's useless.)
So, let's get started!
Basic instructions
Say, your enemy isn't skilled, but you cannot beat him because of his high ping. What do you do?
You might want to try to sync your shots with his game client. This is what I mean.
The Alien might see the Civil Security Lite there, but on Civil's game client, He is actually where I shot. See what I mean?
Alright, but my enemy has a low ping. What now?
Try selfboosting. It's very easy, just set your physics setting to low, and use 30 or 60FPS. For example, boosters in EGRW1 die frequently. But boosters in stryde's snipers rarely die. So you might want to use that technique too!
Advanced Tactics
Lots of people use the following:
- -Selfboost
-Edgeboost
-Crouching to avoid shots
-Using the Ragdoll button to avoid shots
I will provide a thorough explanation of the above techniques and how to do them.
Selfboosting
Selfboosting is a unique skill that many players possess.
To do it, you must have the settings as seen.
FPS can be 30 also, but 60 is optimal. 20 is just bad.
How to selfboost?
First, switch to your swords. Then jump, but press and hold the X button as soon as you are airborne.
If you can go farther with this technique than with the regular jump, you should know you have learned selfboosting,
but you're not over yet. You can practice selfboost on many maps.
Edgeboosting
Must-have settings.
FPS must be 60, and physics must be low.
How to edgeboost?
Find a good edge that you can jump and selfboost off of.
Jump on it, and then selfboost right as you hit the edge. DO NOT selfboost onto the edge, or you will fail.
Crouching to avoid shots
This is a fairly simple technique. Just duck when a person is aiming at you, and you will most likely get away.
Using the Ragdoll button to avoid shots
Same as above, but this is more reliable, so I suggest using this one. Preferred by most players, it can be used with selfboost. Here's an example.
Please take notice that these are just some of many tactics that players use. I will update this post with more of them once I master them. Thank you for reading.
