This thread shows how you can deal with most of Performance and Connection bugs;

1. For Better Performance and reduced chances of loosing progress
I would recommend you to do it time by time in order to get a better gaming experience

USING THE .SWF FILE
-> Due to recent updates in flash player ; The game data is synchronized properly. Use this link to play the game instead..
SET THE LOCAL STORAGE TO UNLIMITED

->Go to the Play Tab from the main site.
->(ON THE LOADER : http://prntscr.com/bwhayf) Right click and select settings
->Select the local storage menu and put the slider to the right-most side http://prntscr.com/bwhb8p

RESET THE LOCAL STORAGE
Problems can occur with your loader's storage or reducing performance ; If the above tutorial doesn't solver your problems you should :

->Go to the same Local storage menu and put the slider to the LEFT-most side http://prntscr.com/bwhc5u

->A screen will prompt asking if you want to continue or not to delete all the stored contents ; Click Yes (Make sure your progress in synchronized before making this step)
->Now Set the Local Storage to unlimited by the first tutorial.

You should reset the local storage by time ; that will boost most of your performance in game.
this might help too http://prntscr.com/bwhdk3

NOTE : IF YOU CAN NOT SEE THE SLIDER, NO NEED TO WORRY ; YOUR STORAGE IS ALREADY SET TO UNLIMITED

2.Wireless Connection problems making ping go v.v. High (like 99000 etc)
Must set-in these settings to reduce any Wireless/Connection related bugs

-> Open that link and it should contain your progress

NOTE : It does not work if the progress is not properly synchronized

4.Reduce your Ping
This show how to reduce delay between the servers and Client(Your PC/GameLoader)
Getting a Better Internet Connection
Spoiler: Show More
This is the best thing that can be used to lower lag. But I recommend checking other methods below before using this one because this can be very expensive.
You need a connection approx. with a speed of 4MBps to your ISP resulting 4000*1/8 = 500KBps approx. to the servers.

Stopping Background Processes that use internet
Spoiler: Show More
There are several processes that use up your Internet and here's how to tackle those :
Automatic : Use some software available on google.
Manual :
/WINDOWS 10 :-
Go to PC Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Scroll down below the list of Wi-Fi networks and select “Advanced Options.” Enable the “Set as Metered Connection”. This will stop Windows using your Wi-Fi for its purpose.
/WINDOWS 8 and 7 :-
Open Task Manager > Performance Tab > Open Resource Monitor > Expand Network
Note down apps using your internet.
Close them using Task Manager.
*Note, You cannot close system related processes such as svchost.exe by this process.
To stop that, Turn off windows update and other updates.
/WINDOWS XP and Vista users can always PM me for doing the same.
/MAC and LINUX users don't need to do this step. They automatically give you Internet as per as required.

Connect to the nearest server
Spoiler: Show More
In order to get a reduced ping, you must connect to the nearest server.
(thanks to iDeath6600)

Shut Down Other devices that use Internet
Spoiler: Show More
Go Find devices that use your net and disconnect them. If you cannot find which devices are connected then download some IP scanner software + Java Runtime.

Restart Your Router
Spoiler: Show More
Restart your router manually by Pressing the power button and turning it on after 10 seconds.
Automatic(More powerful) process :
Go to your router page (Such as 192.168.1.1) > Login with Default Username And Password (available on your back of router on some sticker and if not they're both "admin" without quotes)
Now find Rebooting/Restarting router somewhere in the tabs (Different for each router) and click on it. Wait for atleast 2 minutes.

Other
Try using a Ethernet cable and Plug your PC into a power source.
