connection error inside the launcher

It has been years since I last played this. I noticed the launcher saying "connection error" and what can I do to fix that?

idk if I can post here but you can try using the WINDOWS 7 LAUNCHER
or
DIRECTLY UPDATING BY:
1 - Going directly to the updated SWF:
https://plazmaburst2.com/pb2/pb2_re34.swf
2 - Putting it inside your PB2Launcher/data folder where you downloaded the PB2 launcher. (Remember to delete the last one, and rename the new one to pb2_re34_alt.swf)
3 - Play.
