launcher problem

i downloaded the launcher but it says i need to download net x84 but when i got to download it the only options i have are x64 and x86 and when i download them the same thing appears. im using 64 bit

Hello holybeef,
There is no such thing as 'net x84', only x64 and x86 versions as you have mentioned. The correct version to download is the x86 version in order for the launcher to work. (even if your PC is 64 bit)
