VARS issue

VARS issue

Postby wreak » 15 April 2017, 00:53

I am having trouble with a testing map, this map uses VARS to determine if you are playing in singleplayer or multiplayer, the map seems to be working just fine on single player.

However, playing the map on multiplayer makes it complete haywire and you get the strangest glitches I didn't even know you can accidentally make.

Remember the issue only started happening once you play it on multiplayer.

It seems that you can't compare variables to numbers in the trigger.
Your triggers took the '1's and '0's are variable names rather than values.
You also had an AI rather than a player.

EDIT: I'll delete the map once you've replied to the topic

I see why it didn't work, I used a character rather than a player. And the main issue was I was using variable names rather than actual values, I used 1 and 0 instead of using something random.
