Map Editor Selection Issue

Map Editor Selection Issue

Postby xXWaffleDudeXx » 2 January 2016, 22:54

Since no one else would post about it, or I'm probably the only one or one of a few with this problem, I'm reporting this issue. The map editor selection menu is partially on the tab to the left. Basically, it's horizontal instead of vertical with no slider to move it. I can only access the selection tool, the wall tool, and the movable tool, nothing else on that side of the screen. If its part of an update, please let me know and how to use it.

Hey there, I've moved your topic to Bug Reporting since it's a more suitable section, as for your problem, I had the same issue about two years ago but I really can't remember how I fixed it.

Give a bit more information so that others can get a better idea of what's going on. Are you using the old level editor or the advanced one? Can you get a screenshot to show us exactly what it looks like? (imgur or lightshot are good for screenshots)

It says the version is 1.1, so it's up to date, I think, and I'm unsure how to take screenshots. Instead of the usual tool menu, the icons are set up like this: [ ] [ ] [
I can pretty much access those three, and the third is partially cut off. The rest of the menu on the left pretty much looks like that.

To take screenshots just press screenshot in your keyboard then go to paint or anything related to picture manager then press paste now you've got a screenshot but if you just want a certain part, Crop it

What browser do you use? Im pretty sure it shows [] if you use internet explorer

...I don't have a key on my keyboard that says "screenshot." I use Google Chrome because it's more reliable than Internet Explorer.

Print Screen*

Nearly every keyboard has that key. If you have Windows 7 and up, you can launch Snipping Tool and take a snip/screenshot, then upload the image to imgur after you saved it, or you can download Lightshot, take a screenshot with that, upload it directly, and paste the link it provides after copying it.
