new rules to moderate guest

Postby yizhe » 12 July 2020, 15:01

As we all know, guests are the anonymous lurker in the community that can get away with impunity should they commit any offence. we do see erratic guests behaviour of shutting down rooms and kicking players, while registered players can only watch their rooms get shut as there is no way to report guest. Currently, some measures are in place such as creating a private room to be the game master, oe kicking one guest so that subsequent guests cant join. But wouldnt it be great if guest could somehow be tracked and reported? im not saying all guests are bad and we should start killing them in RP maps, but what im saying is that this game should come up with a way to track guest IP address and ban them if they commit an offense here. Just a thought. #Guestlivesmatter

Statures of the moderation and consequences regarding Guests action does seem nonexplicit at the moment; would be nice to see further expansion on this matter.

In a first glimpse this looks like a great idea. However, (as I mentioned in another topic) most "real" guests do not know the code of conduct and hence the rules they are supposed to follow in the first place. Being able to report guests for breaking the rules is cool and all, but shoould we not make sure they know the rules first?
How many bugs does this game have anyway? jeez
