[ALE] Question: Empty Sets

Postby Superdudaman » 28 October 2023, 09:58

Hello PB2 Forum, this question is based on Level Editors.

Is there a certain value in PB2 Level Editor that equals "null", "empty" or "∅"?
When I use "{}" or "()", the value becomes a literal character rather than an invisible, empty value.

Any experienced vets with foresight or knowledge on this question?

U mean zero-length strings?
Or empty array?

If you want zero length strings, that involves some XML editing, you would find the relevant trigger and action number and edit out the value to "".

Hello @alj99,
Yes I believe I meant zero-length strings.

Each time I use "", ALE fills the [blank] with a "0", and Unicode characters U+2205 "∅" [Empty Set Character], U+3164 "ㅤ" [Hangul Filler], and U+2800 "⠀" [Braille Pattern Blank] are all ineffective because ALE won't support them.
What software coding platform will support PB2's .XML files then, so I can follow your instructions?

Thank you for the quick reply,
