I was a member of 3 of those clans and was a close friend of one. Nothing exceptional about any of them except YRN.
EKAT was trash, I was a Vice Commander in it. 'Miranda' was actually a boy who was extremely weird imo.
BOA was a bad joke and even back in the day no one respected it, UrkillerV was known to be a weird pervert
GSA had it's good times, but was also pretty much a clan with nothing exceptional about it.
Genocide had good people, couple good artists.
And Juan is chill.
There is nothing about any of those clans that even warrant being in the top 5.

The Number 1 clan of all time is DARK CLAN.

formed in 2011 by the Pb2 legend and player with the highest k/d ever of 18 Yoshiman40,
so its the oldest active clan.

its STILL the Biggest clan, its bigger now, than any clan was before flash player ended, even though we lost around 80-90% of members when flash died,
many famous and old PB2 players, as well as PB2 legends are now joining DARK CLAN as they can see its not only survived, but thrived, and will go onto PB3 as the biggest clan,

So it really is the oldest, the biggest and the BEST CLAN of all time,

YES all the above clans mentioned were GOOD clans, but ALL but YRN are not active or have died out on PB2.

DARK CLAN belongs to ALL its members, Its the dedication and Loyalty of ALL US members, that have made our DARK CLAN, the best and greatest clan,, Founded By a PB2 Legend, Yoshiman40, and guided to Total Victory by the PB2 legend and ranked number 3 player, The Great Mohamed and the former head PB2 Mod mrmcshroom, who left PB2 staff to join us.

A while ago this topic would've caused a flame war, but given the size of the community, this likely won't hurt anyone...

There's so many ways to "rank" PB2 clans across the game's history. Popularity? Notable members? Best community/culture/character? Longevity? I'd put BoZ, GeNo, EKAT, Apex, Nephilim, YrN, GSA in some order. It's so hard to rank clans tho, honestly!

i'm going to use mingo's formula , some of these might just make a top entry for popularity but community wise i don't think leadership crises and internal drama make top entries especially 1 to 4, in terms of longevity none except number 5 has lived passed 5 years straight without dying and had no multiple failed revivals.

Culture wise i don't know about that although i've been in 4/5 of these with the exception of GSA almost every group does the same thing just a place where people come together with whatever purpose whether playing games , chatting , events. Some might just do it better than others that is it nothing special there though .

Notable members yea sure can't argue there most of what is listed in all entries on this post have their notable members and characters .

Nonetheless list isn't realistic placement wise and who is on it and who isn't on it .

imo, comparing top 5 best clans is as hard as comparing top 5 nation who is best nation overall with the range of all-year record.

I don't know which would be considered the "Best", not I was involved in many clans.

Technically, there were only 2 clans I had joined: Skill and USF.

I won't state my experience regarding them but I will say USF was very different and unique from all of the clans out there. Not that it was the best, but it was not bad either. USF around its older days, dating back 2017-2020 always stayed mature when I was there and was extra serious about rules and stuff, and I slightly liked it because even though the activity was not heavy, things were kept in order. As for now, it has become pretty meme-ish, dead too, and I rarely go there, when it is the server I had been most active in and sent the most messages in, till this date.

Though I don't know which to call the best. But USF shaped me pretty differently, been mature because of it.
