I'm really glad that u shared ur discussion with Eric in your video while everyone asked questions and he answered 16%. I have a question for you though. Are you willing to wait another 3 years since he said this game is at 20%? How do you feel about him saying all this( hyped, upset, annoyed, patient, impatient)? Other than that, keep it up :D.

I'm barely active now so chances are I won't be around in 3 years and if I am, it will only be occasional drop-bys. I don't have any specific emotion towards the development of the game.

Why do i suddenly feel like this is gonna happen:

the hype is real, because, 20% done, better than 16% XD
about mobile app, well.... not looking forward into it, since PB2 HAS SO MANY CONTROLS, unless eric puts so many buttons on the screen
about asian server, that's good, no more 3731 pings and stuff (or maybe it's just my internet connection)

I haven't managed to post a reply here, so I will do so before leaving like I intended to.

Eric Gurt is being rather modest. 16% to 20%, yet he's done so much progress within the last 12 months. Don't get me wrong, I know absolutely nothing about coding, graphic design or game development in general... but the checklist at the 0:30 mark in the video looks like Plazma Burst 3 is 50% done. Most of the client-side code is written and probably half the entities and graphic elements (skins, etc.) are designed. Theoretically, we could play Plazma Burst 2.5 as a major update right now, but efforts are focused on an all-new instalment, a stand-alone, if you will.

Multiplayer features, server-side code and the Campaign sound like the longest remaining tasks the essentially one-man development team will have to finish. Maybe 50% of the total expected work was finished, but the game itself is subjectively 20% complete because it's still a "shell" of what it can be. Therefore, it doesn't function as a real game because of the current lack of substance (story line, Multiplayer aspects, custom map creation, etc.) So I can understand why Eric Gurt refuses to provide a higher approximate percentage of the project's completion.

The thing is, he can't really know what percentage the game is already on since his ideas on what to add in the game is dynamic or changing.

In other words:
He still does not fully know what to add in the game so it's difficult to guess the completion percentage.

Guys, PB2 can be played from mobile but it is REALLY hard. Use Puffin Browser. Then go in PB2 and you can play it. WARNING: IT IS REALLY HARD!!!!
