As a matter of fact, it's obviously not dead.

The forums is good and well.
It's dead because of people who believe it to be.

I felt the same thing yesterday, "something's not right here".
I feel empty in the inside, not comfortable.

No truer words have been spoken.
I don't think the forums are dead. They seem to be in a good and stable condition, despite the size of the active chunk of the community. You can expect a swift response to your messages in the more frequented sub-forums and most people here communicate in at least a decent manner.

Perfectly said in many ways. Same for the people that think about the game....they think its dead because its what they "believe it to be"

from hundreds of thousands of players to less than 1000, i think the "pb2 is dead" logic is flawless

On average, this forum sees around 40-50 posts a day and 5-6 new topics per day. That's not dead by any stretch. The people replying, saying it's dead are solid proof it isn't dead, otherwise why would they still inhabit and post on a dead forum?

I'll say most of the activity has moved on to the discord server. Forums are usually reserved for semi-serious discussions that persists throughout the week.

As for activity here, I think it'll go back up when Eric eventually finishes PB 2.5 / 3. ( What ever it is. I consider it 3 since he's moving the game to another engine )
