If sniper rifle doesn't exist on PB2

Hi guys. We are know that when "Sniper Rifle CS-YippeeKiYay" get added into the game as one of the unique bonus guns, it went become one of the most popular & favourite type of gun for many players on either SP (SinglePlayer) & MP (MultiPlayer) mode of the PB2 game.

It also makes certain map developers gained a big amount of good ratings due of their sniper maps. One of the popular example for that is the "stryde-sniper" map, which is a very popular multiplayer sniper map in this community. It got like more then 4000 votes, and it's still increasing. Literally many players will do an simple 1v1 fight with this map.

So from this discussion, let's just imagined.

What would happen if Eric didn't created & added the sniper rifle on this PB2 game ?

If so, how about wondering things like :

- What would be the most popular kind of weapon that being used in PB2 (If sniper rifle doesn't exist...) ?
- What would be the most high rated & favourite MP maps that being played for a certain competition by many of the PB2 players (If sniper maps doesn't exist...) ?
- What would be the maps that Stryde & other map developers created to try get the huge amount of ratings (If sniper maps doesn't exist...) ?

A: i would put my guess for the and lite railgun. there was (and still is iirc) a myth that PB2 top 100 consists of railgun lords and sniper lords, so yeah

A: railgunning maps based on lite railgun, nothing really special, they share the idea with sniper maps: easy, but versatile and fun to play
