Unresolved "Approved" Map Camping Spots (Incomplete)

Postby stormforce » 30 July 2017, 23:58

This spots are not very fair, and allow camping. Especially people with high ping. They should be fixed.
Now, I know every map will have camping spots, but I think these are the major ones.
Aslang-fightforthebase
http://prntscr.com/g2ag8u - Camping spot in the middle small fort
http://prntscr.com/g2agsl - Camping spot at the invisible door
http://prntscr.com/g2ah6n - Camping at the invisible door #2
http://prntscr.com/g2ahkp - camping at the top of the tower

Max teabag-arena

The walls in the map are basically all 2-3 units long, which means they are easily penetrated. Worse yet, there are a lot of open, long areas that are good for spamming.

The maps that you see are old.
meaning that it could've been approved before the map approval guide was created

but yeah, it should be re-made to fit the current map approval guide.

Campers make the game more challenging, interesting and fun so imo its okay to have camp spots in maps

You shouldnt have created this topic because eric is working on pb3 and he shouldnt waste the time on remaking every map that has camp spots in it

Before people even start to moan about the camping spots on map, I want to say every map has them, one more obviously than another and some have better camping spots than another ones. Also, there is a point in CoC which says that your playstyle must be fair to all players (https://prnt.sc/e2s7sh). It also says that camping is allowed. So, I don't really understand why this topic was created. btw, wrong section

Considering that camping is allowed, i don't see this as a huge problem at all. Certain newbies or average players are sometimes camping based on their playstyle or as their easy tactics to fight the opponent.

~ If a person claim itself to be a PRO / Proffesional (Have a very good / strong skills), then he / she should have no problem at all dealing with campers, right ? ~

I dont see the problem here at all in pb2 you are allowed to spam bullets/grenades and you are allowed to camp on maps and if someone does that its ok dont get mad at them say. they are new and they dont wanna die but they wanna rank up kills then camping would work and about that some people think they are pro thats bs lets be honest everyone is not a pro they just think they are.

depends on the map... if a map maker designs a map that clearly has overly powerful positions, the map isnt good and you cant simply expect players to outplay the "campers"

your reasoning is ridiculous
