Why is Plazma Burst 2 still in beta state?

Plazma Burst 2 has been released for about 6 years and still apparently in beta state, can someone tell me why? well, if i missed out if some said why it was, it's probably because i'm a new player

the game is finished, multiplayer wich was a side feature is beta

At this point, I highly doubt that PB2.5 will ever be released in real time, especially since the mere lack of content in PB2 that we have encountered over the again the 6 years of community/game length.

The game is indeed finished, but a sequel or big update has not been made in quite a while, and which case the community will rapidly decay from an old game with no mind-changing patches ever developed.

Look at how many players we have now in multiplayer than in the past! It is a drastic drop-off from the former members of the game itself.
