Reverting old maps to 2.5

Eric said that he would make maps in pb2 work for pb2.5, do you really agree with this idea?

To be honest, I would not prefer this because you will only see the same maps online. Granted there will be new twists but people will get bored of it faster and 2.5 will start to die out faster then what pb2 went through

I agree with this idea, it would save the trouble of redoing your map from scratch if it weren't to be added.

I don't have anything against the idea, but I don't think it will be very useful. The maps from pb2 would look different with the 2.5D and pb2.5/3 won't have the same playing style as pb2, which means most of the maps from pb2 will be useless in pb2.5/3 (except from very simple ones, where I don't see the point of transferring them to pb2.5 if they could be replicated easily).

Also, pb2.5/3 will have a lot of new functions which makes it more interesting to make the acutal maps, and maps in pb2 which use bugs ,like the fake wall, can work different in pb2.5/3.

I think it will be extremely useful, considering that even though the gameplay and visual changes, it will merely need some tweaking and you're good to go with a series of maps you worked really hard to make in PB2. Maybe it will encourage updates to famous maps.
