Wishlist for Plazma Burst 2.5!

Have you ever wanted some new feature in PB2? Perhaps a new weapon, skin, or maybe even a new trigger function? But it didn't get added? Well, PB2.5 might change that.



Post any suggestions/wishes/what you want to see happen for Plazma Burst 2.5. It can be anything (reasonable) that would work within the current limits of PB2.5, such as a new skin, weapon, player ability (like double jump or jetpacks). No first person or things like that, as those simply aren't being added (in the case of first person, it technically is in the game, however there won't be any support for it nor are any of the models being made 3D). It would be advised to go onto Eric Gurt's twitter if you already haven't and view some of the features he has created before suggesting, in order to not suggest things already in the game (like the skin editor for example).



Please, do not make sarcastic/trolling posts/overall unnecessary (example: I want to see shoes added into PB2.5), those will be removed and warnings/bans may be handed out if needed. Please keep your post count down too, there's no need to post one suggestion, wait a while, then make another. If you have another wish/suggestion, just edit your original post.

Hmm, I think I would suggest a new skin and a weapon.

A Civil Security Trooper that is deployed in drop pods only and wears a similar armor like ODST's, and is armed with a new CS machine gun.

I Would want a uzi In Plazma Burst 2.5.

Edit: I Would also want a Drone,Dagger And Double Barrel shotgun.

I kinda wish for ingame 'skins' that are client based. this might be only allowed in a downloadable version of the game (Which I'd like also, not for hacking but so I don't have to always open my browser or have this crappy flash player play it (Also so I can have fullscreen!) lol) But its basically like in osu! (the other game I waste my life on now) where you can edit what certain weapons or players look like. Maybe theres a slot for the player that you control I guess. this is more for people that make their own weapons or skins, or Wish to modify the looks of some objects (Ex: Player X does not like Gun Y's Neon glow color, Player X and edit that and change the color) But this is probably more like modifying the game now, even though its just changing how something looks, it might be WAY too abuseable. So maybe gun customization? Thats probably too useless, then probably Just being able to have a downloadable version of the game, skins made by other players that could center around a theme does seem interesting, but there are probably too many graphical elements in the game to make that possible.

Fresh ideas: downloadable client. ERIC PLEASE
2. Be able to create your own weapons in everything. You can download it from community. You can't play with community weapons in multiplayer (expect custom maps).
3. EMP is one of things that I want. In a nutshell: EMP will damage all vehicles in radius, can be used in multiplayer. Also if players in EMP zone they won't be able to use their suit (double jump, psi swords, interface, speed..everything lol). Vehicles will be destroyed or slowed. Also EMP weapons: in spoiler I wrote what could be granted with EMP feature.
4. More suit features. It need mods (like Deus Ex or Crysis). For example double jump could be as a modification. Heavy battlesuit will have more slots but some modifications will drain more energy. And yep, all mods will use energy. Soooooooo EMP will eat energy. :D
5. Co-op gaming: community will be able to create their own campaigns and play it in multiplayer. I have no thoughts how it can be made :sorry:

First idea is Shield on player. It will take energy for damage
(stronger damage - more energy taking) and take all damage from
bullets, rockets, part of damage from Railguns (but shield will
destroyed) and miss damage from BNG, plazma launchers and ray guns
(last 2 will break shield). Also it can be as selfsaving: if player
have <30% from his health, automatically activates EMP, then activates
shield.
Obliviously, Walker's bullet will drop the shield.
Second idea is EMP. It working as portable module and will take ALL
energy from ALL players (expect player - activator) in radius.
Disabling swords for 30+N seconds. Needs many energy. Players without
energy will be stunned and killed. Androids get stunned and going into
dying state. Taking over Rockets, Walker's bullets. Also stun Walkers,
Cars and Corvettes, deal very big damage to Drones. Radius of EMP -
1-15 meters. (on 1-3 meters EMP deals blackout, stuns, energy taking
and kills, 4-8 - blackout, energy taking and stuns (only for cars and
robots), 8-10 - blackout and energy taking, 10-15 - only energy
taking).
Third idea about Defibrilator. Maybe it shouldn't be electroshock? If
all - I think PB 2.5 needs EMP weapons (like electroshock from FttP or
Railguns). And weapons like Ray guns, Railguns, Plazma launchers
Fourth idea is combat system. Swords is good, really. But why not to
make clubs, for example? Or take for swords new functions? Lower about
swords.
Melee weapons is Clubs, Knives and Heavy weapon.
First will deal small damage to armored players, medium damage to
unarmored players and will be dying unarmored from behind. Second deal
medium damage to armored players, huge to unarmored and kill unarmored
from behind. Third will lower player's speed. Deals huge damage to all
and instantly kill unarmored.
Fifth idea is about swords (:D). I think swords must block or parry.
Also it is from energy, so can be activated and costs energy. Then on
0 slot can be melee weapon OR swords. Swords will kill player without
armor. From behind swords kill instantly.
Sixth idea is Armor. If player need more defense - he will take this
modification. Slowing when on player, but now he can't be killed with
swords from 1-2 hits. Also it takes damage from bullets.
Seventh idea just for MP. It is about vehicles. Add it to MP (don't
see anyone MP map...).
Eighth idea is Parachute and Jump Kick. If player jumps from big
height, he can activate Parachute and slowly drop to ground. Also he
can activate Jump Kick and kill all in radius (5 meters) and deal
damage to others (10 meters).
Ninth idea is Battlesuit. Now it can be modificated. But player can
insert only 5(6 on high ranks) modifications. Also in matches players
will be in suits or no. (It will effect on weapons: players without
suits can't take heavy guns, only Pistols, Rifles, Defibs and
Shotguns. And melee weapon).
Tenth idea is about taking vehicle gun. Player with Battlesuit and
modificator can take off guns from vehicle (if it neutral).

Possibly not have the game's engine running on adobe flash,either have vsync or unlimited fps(the current fps setting for PB2 is cancerous and one gives unfair advantages over the other),netcode favor shooter for lag issues,hopefully less wonky hitboxes(ever seen that thing in debug mode?),hitboxes register body parts,because nothing is better than shooting someone in the toe and getting a headshot at the moment,am I right?
I don't know,more guns and stuff?

So here is my wish:

I would like to see Improved campaign maps design.

- Make that you have to travel through corridors, finding bottoms to open next door, or perhaps finding keys to open doors. In short; Puzzling and challenging, Instead of just "Kill all enemys and move to next Corridor or Room" like what we have now, It gets very boring and reptitive.

- Add Dialog, like the heroes talk with each other, some sort of storyline.

- Mission objectives, you need to complete mission objectives that are based on the storyline, Far cry 1 Is a very great Example. If PB2.5 would be like that, I'm sure the levels would be more connected with the storyline.

- Limit the weapons. It's pretty obvious. The game gets VERY VERY boring when all heroes gets all the best max upgraded weapons, just rush and massacare. Make it thats so each hero will be limited with each of their own weapons available, so that each hero (The main hero, Proxy, Noir lime) will play their own role, one is Hard hitter, another Is sniper, third is Jack of all trades (just examples).

- Add more Battlesuit options, also add upgrades for the battlesuit.

Vehicles, kinetic module, more standard skins such as TDM Phoneix Falkok in multiplayer + something like Steam Workshop where fan made guns could be added

NOTE: This is my personal wishlist and may contain mentioned features.

1. Asian Server

2. Synchronized Multiplayer

3. A rework of the deflect mechanism so as to be not so random and infuriating.

4. Clan system

5. Site communication system that allows players to converse in real time.

6. An improved chat.

7. Better optimization for both the game and ALE.

8. Include hex color option for backgrounds.

9. An option to view how a map would look in-game without having to load the game.

10. A downloadable client.

11. Not have FPS affect gameplay. Like, how can one spaghetti code that hard?

I don't know if this is planned but I would like walls that certain players/teams can pass through, basically barriers.

Also more team supportive weapons. Like a AoE defib weapon that sends out a electric pulse but has a very long cooldown.

A trigger option for the text only the player can see. Example: The trigger tells you "Blaster: uses gun 7 and 8" but only you will see it.

Edit: Also one more important thing, I hope when a player presses E it will only effect that player.
