Best music to listen while playing your map?

Postby Dandamage » 28 May 2016, 00:38

It would be amazing if you could put MP3 files inside your maps and have custom sound effects and combat music, but unfortunately that is not a reality, so I'm curious about what music would fit well in your map if you could put one.

Personally, The Slayer could use many themes from Quake and Doom, such as Ultraviolence - Mick Gordon

What music would be great in your map?

Sometimes I like to put links to songs on youtube in the place of a walkthrough link. Because, lets face it, most of us are never ever going to make walkthrough videos for my maps.

Lolol.

I would most likely add deathcore, alternative or speedmetal tracks into my maps ^^.
Probably more the latter.

Just make walkthrough (If you haven't already). It helps boost your channel and votes.

In my Single_Zombies SP series. "John Murphy - In The House, In A Heartbeat" works nicely, mainly the intense instrumental part. It was part of the soundtrack of 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later so we already know it works with the zombie theme. The loud chords create a panicked and desperate atmosphere whilst you're trying to take out crowds of zombies in the map.
