Why in game shark?

I have question,WHY IN GAME SHARK?Shark is a added to PB2 update weapon,why i ask it?Becuase it DOES NOTHING!AND ITS NOT APPEAR ON MAP!If its not a bug in scripts,why add?Its a joke?

Yeah, the gun is usually altered using a trigger and in game it is usually considered a "god gun". Remember how the 7 gun (CS-BNG) used to be considered the "god gun" in a modded gun map? Well I guess the shark gun replaces the CS-BNG now. Sort of sad not gonna lie...
